as a writer and a reader at the same time, i am exposed to facts, opinions, and tales whenever i read books. i am responsible to know facts rather than rely on opinions to know how i can educate my readers well by mixing it up with fiction or metaphors. today, misinformations have spread out like wildfire in the philippines. we, readers and writers, are responsible to know how to decipher a credible source to a misinformed one.
now that the filipino people will elect another set of politicians for (not all) six years, i encourage all of us (even encourage your family, friends, relatives, etc.) to research, ponder, and vote wisely. your vote and support matters the most. avoid fake news. stop being a fanatic or loyalist. tumindig, ika nga nila. para sa bayan, hindi lamang para sa sarili. para sa mga kapatid mong maliit pa lang o sa magiging mga anak mo, hindi lamang para sa sarili.
this campaign has been both tiring and fun for me. my promised updates were cancelled due to campaigning for my chosen president and vice president. tumindig ako, para sa bayan. kahit napakahirap. i have researched carefully, pondered the pros and cons, and chose wisely who to support. i have chosen leni robredo and kiko pangilinan. they have the credibility and capacity to lead the country. both public servants with clean track records. hindi trapo. i am not forcing you to vote for them but i am encouraging you to research for them and give them the chance to prove themselves through their track records and platforms.
para sa bayan. para sa kapwa pilipino. wag natin silang sayangin.
