I've loved reading and writing fiction for as long as I remember and can get rather passionate about the power of words. The process of writing draws on many years of personal ups and downs, and intensive observation and study of the vagaries of our emotions, motivations, and behaviour.

Exploration of the human psyche's shadow side and imagining the potential fallout for both the individual and his/her relationships is a particular interest. However, I also find infinite excitement in moving the boundaries and experimenting with different genres -- from literary to sci-fi -- and various styles of writing.
