18 years ago we remember a tragedy. At 08:46 AM the first plane Flight 11 hit the north tower between floors 93 and 99. That was when the world stopped. Then as everyone was already traumatized at 09:03 AM flight 175 hit the south tower between floors 77 and 85. It seems after that it got even worse. America was under attack. At 09:37 AM flight 77 hit the Pentagon. When you look back what do you remember? I remember being in school watching everything I was in 2nd grade at this time I didn’t know what this was but one thing I did know it was something bad. My grandma picked me up and that’s when I saw it at 9:59 AM the south tower collapsed I saw my grandma in tears I felt so sad and wanted to comfort her but didn’t know how. We left to home. I remember asking her what is going on? She never answered. She wanted to keep this from me. When we got home my grandpa was off and watching the news. We lived 3 min away from school so I watched with my grandparents as the north tower collapsed my grandpa covered my eyes but it was already too late I saw as the north tower collapsed. To this day I will never forget this because it shows how much we came together as a country and rebuilt and conquered but we will never forget the lives this country lost from the towers, the pentagon, the planes, the first responders.
