I write the kind of stories that feel like sitting under a streetlight with a book you can't put down - a little rough around the edges, a little hopeful, and full of characters who've been knocked around by life but keep going anyway.

I'm drawn to worlds where people run toward danger because they don't know how to run from it.
Maze Runner, Harry Potter, The Goonies, The Outsiders - anything with adventure, chaos, loyalty, and characters who pretend they're fine even when they ain't. I've only written two Maze Runner books, but the way I talk about those characters, you'd think I lived in the Glade myself.

I like stories where found family means more than blood, where friendship is something you fight for, and where even the toughest characters have soft spots they don't talk about. I write late at night, usually thinking too hard, whispering "things are rough all over" like it explains everything.
