Alex is an aspiring author while he studies to become an English teacher, eventually wanting to teach at the college level. He has participated in NaNoWriMo every year since he started college. Alex loves to expand his reading horizons and will give almost anything a try once, even if it takes hi a while to get to it.

He writes mostly in the fantasy/fiction genre, and has always been fascinated with the ways language can be used to convey so many different things.

Some of his favorite authors are: Rick Riordan, J.K. Rowling, and William Shakespeare.
