Your grandmother sounds like a formidable lady. I presume you are not UK based? Please do start writing again. I’ve never written before this and it has been such an exhilarating experience. I look forward to seeing your own primum  opus. Courage, ma nouvelle copine…..

@MelissaHardwick . My grandmother would be so proud. I think Latin would be a fabulous part of the school curriculum here perhaps paired with the oh so feminine French?! You are inspiring me to write again. I wrote a very long story  for myself about 8-10 years ago and then lost it in a laptop crash. I started messing around with a new version last night. Who knows, but perhaps I will post here one day! For now, will live vicariously through you.
