Two things - first, there is a new chapter of the Mythical Fandom Wikia, about Crystals and Gemstones for Mythicals. If you are interested in that, feel free to read.

Second, this is a post to see the reception to the idea of calling Starseeds "Starflesh". There is multiple reasons I would like to do this, but obviously, I am one person, and I cannot push the change on my own. Hopefully, by announcing this to my followers, I will get some comments and thoughts towards this renaming. If other Mythicals like it, I will change the name to Starflesh in my Mythical Fandom Wikia book, but I will still include the old name in parenthesis, so readers know what I'm talking about.

Lots of writing is on the way, and I'm excited to share it.

@talksofnonhuman In New Age Spirituality circles, yes. But within the Mythical Community, it's more of a label than anything else. Only you can label yourself a Starseed, nobody else... that, and how Mythicals use it tends to be somewhat different. It's probably best we separate ourselves from the white supremacy connotations, though.

@alicedreamvoltaire I don't think it's the name. The whole thing is around only white people can starseed or "I think my autistic kid isn't actually autistic they are just a starseed". It's the whole thing

the new chapter is really helpful! I'll have to keep it in mind for when im getting crystals ^^ also, i agree, starflesh would be a better term, since the origins of the term starseed are pretty bad

Apparently, Mimi informed me that the Mythical Community is having an odd spike in online activity again? Not just here, but on other sites as well. Curious to know what has happened since I've been gone for... four months. I think.

@alicedreamvoltaire Yeah, this is an increase I haven't seen since the chaos of 2022. I'm surprised Mythicals are rising to prominence again... sounds like it might be because of the term 'Starseed' and New Age Spirituality being brought back into popular culture circulation? Which is a term that the Mythical Community has also used for a while... and we probably shouldn't.

The repost of my Mythical Community Fandom Wikia is now up! I've been debating whether or not to add word counts to the beginning of each chapter... should I?

@alicedreamvoltaire if you feel it's necessary. Go for it
