            >  the tips of his antennas glow a light pink in the dark !  different shades of pink show his emotions as well .  the darker ,  the more negative .  the lighter ,  the more positive .  
            
            >  he doesn't know how old he is ..  he'll likely break if asked ,  thinking for quite a while on it .  
            
            >  they've survived a supermassive black hole !  wouldn't recommend it ,  they were left with back pains for a week ...  also aren't so sure how they survived .  
            
            >  accidental near—death experiences are common with this one .  they aren't aware of what things on earth will kill them ,  so they might just almost die in front of anyone !
            
            >  touching his antennae can cause him severe dizziness .  after long periods of time ,  he can get sick .
            
            >  he wears a mask out of fear someone will insult his eyes  .
            
            >  they have a pet bunny named bun bun !  they adore bunnies actually ,  to the point where bunny is another nickname they go by .  
            
            >  has the ability to completely change his height ,  but he cannot exceed 6ft'5in  ( 195cm )  or go smaller than 1ft  ( 30cm ) .  he can also change the size of completely different things !  
            
            >  he often thinks about what it would be like to have parents .  he wished he  'grew up'  with people he could talk to ,  rather than alien life on pluto .  it makes him sad knowing he'll never know that feeling of having someone look after him with the affection of a parent ,  so he makes sure he's the best father ever to valentine .  
            
            >  at first ,  they've very awkward with people !  once they feel comfortable ,  they'll yap someone's ear off and be very physically affectionate .  it becomes obvious rather quickly that they're not very smart ,  but even more obvious that they're trying .

lore  ( in short ) ;
            
            effy was born from a star ,  already as what humans would call an adult .  he made his way over to pluto ,  the closest planet possible ,  & lived there for hundreds of years .  eventually ,  he would get tired of pluto & make his way to other planets .  
            
            one planet he managed to visit was venus .  upon arrival ,  the local aliens said he looked weird ,  before kicking him off the planet .  literally did they kick him off .  he began to hate venus .  after this event ,  he left to earth ,  where he made friends with people despite being a bit awkward .  
            
            on a different planet ,  he met a different alien ,  valentine .  he had been vented to about leaving home ,  & thus he somewhat kidnapped valentine .  after this ,  he adopted valentine as his child .  
            
            the first human he ever met ,  as well as his first love ,  had called him  'effy'  .  now having a name to go by ,  he named himself effy .  from then on ,  this man introduced him to everyone they met as effy .  
            
            about 50 years after meeting & keeping his feelings to himself ,  the man ended up dying of natural causes .  it hurt effy deeply ,  & so he isolated himself for a period of time in a forest .  emerging several years later ,  effy found himself ready for interaction again ,  even if still pained .
