Hey I know not all stories have a happy ending , infact only a few do . But the thing is, the way How to save a life ended is very traumatic and ...scary . I mean not to sound like a baby because I do generally read unhappy endings only , but I had nightmares after reading that , especially the fact that H didn't even have any guilt whatsoever. You know for some reason the ending is relatable , to a lot of people, and you writing it like that triggers a sense of fear in one's mind of abandonment and whatnot ... Can you maybe improvise it a bit , just make it a little less heartless ?
          Besides that you have a great writing style, like the way you follow up with the characters and don't get sidetracked; not many authors are able to manage that<3
