I’ve seen quite a few comments saying that my story is just a cheap copy of Ms. Anderson’s book, or that it’s basically an AI version with a few changes.

And honestly, I’m not going to sit here and pretend there aren’t similarities. I know I’ve taken inspiration from a lot of scenes, and I’ve already talked to the author about it. She knows about my story and told me she has no problem with it as long as I mention her, which I have. Crediting her was literally one of the first things I did.

But please remember that there is an actual person behind this story too.

Maybe I didn’t spend 2 or 3 years writing it. Maybe my story isn’t perfect. But I’ve still spent a lot of my own time thinking of ideas, creating things, changing things, writing, rewriting, and putting effort into it.

So when someone comes into my comments and says things like “just go read her book instead of wasting your time here because it's AI,” yeah... that hurts.

You don’t have to like my story. You don’t have to read it. And you’re completely allowed to criticize it. I’m not asking everyone to love my work.

But there’s a difference between criticism and just being mean to someone who worked hard on something.

If you’re genuinely interested in the original book, please go read it, I loved it myself and that litreally inspired me to write my own! I have nothing against that at all. I just ask that you don’t come here to spread hate or make me feel like my work is worthless.

If you have a genuine problem with me or my story, you can always come talk to me directly on TikTok instead of attacking me in the comments.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me and given my story a chance. It genuinely means more than you know. ❤️

@alinacrybaby I’m confused, did you use ai for this story or did you not? Because if you did, your readers deserve you to be very upfront about that.

Your fans support you girly, we’re here for you. I see no issue considering you were only inspired by a story, you gave credit to the owner who has no problem and that’s the most important part. Your book is awesome! I know it’s hard to ignore the comments that make you feel otherwise, but try focusing on the positive ones. We love your work and look forward to seeing many more.
