Poet Alisa A. Sane has been writing since the age of fifteen. Inspired at first by the art as a means to express complex feelings about growing up as a teenager, Sane has never looked back. One of her first poems titled "A Girl, 1987 " was written 30 years ago, was featured in Poetry Jungle. As her style has developed, she continues to write from experience, expressing ideas that many can relate to. Sane hopes that through her work she can both entertain and inspire others. Sane says of poetry that it has always been a venue of complete freedom for emotion to flow-something she has forever loved reading and writing. 

Alisa A. Sane is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. She has been living in Collierville, Tennessee with her husband Moussa and daughter Kaitlyn since 2011. When she's not writing, Alisa Sane works as a Social Worker helping children and families in need.
