hey everyone! though no one probably cares () (although 1.2k reads might say otherwise? idk)i am currently working on the next chapter. I plan for it to be semi-long, but we'll see how it goes. Since it may be a bit until I publish it, here's a snippet that has some dialogue the Six of Crows fans may appreciate:

Sophie stayed unmoving in the cage, holding her head to the ground. I had only seen a bit of the torment she had faced the first time she had been forced to wear Dex's ability restrictor, and that was only for a few seconds.
"She has a square. Like these." Inej said, holding up the triangle.
"A diamond." Zoya realized. "They make a diamond."
"Everyone keep hold of your triangle keys. Inej. Remember. The best way to steal a man's wallet is to make him think you're stealing his watch."
"I still go by a knife to the throat," She responded quickly, then seemingly disappeared into the shadows.
