I would prefer to name myself a creative reader, because, I always look for the brighter side of any stories I read.  I relate it with the real life situations and embrace the reality that the fiction tries to imply.
No matter how imaginative your story is with the characters, the setting, still the emotions there are true and genuine. And that's the best thing- the lesson.
