Hi guys, I'm here to let you know what a wonderful person you missed out on talking to and to let you know a few thing about him.
his name is Chance. his full name is Gregory Chance Harris.
he turned 18 on June 21st, 2013.
Chance liked being called Peter Pan.
he is the sweetest guy you could've met.
I called him Sunshine because he could brighten up my day with just one message.
when we first met, we were being really weird. I don't remember what we talked about but it was the start of an amazing friendship. a friendship that I now realize, meant so much more than I thought.
this boy, this wonderful, adorable, crazy boy, was one of my best friends. anyone who can say Chancey was one of their best friends, should feel so very special.
Although I'm not the only one who can say he was one of my best friends, I'm pretty sure I'm the only one that can say I owned some part of this boy's heart. we never got a chance to be together because I didn't know how he felt about me until recent circumstances unveiled the truth.
I'm very sorry to say that on August 11th, 2013, heaven gained a perfect angel. Chance passed away. now, before people want to assume Chance killed himself, that's not true. Chance died from a brain tumor. he told me about it about 3-4 months ago. I was only one of two or three that knew. Chance didn't want pity. he hated for people to feel sorry for him. but this boy fought. he told me he could go any day and it happened sooner than anyone expected. they say you never really know what you have until it's gone and that's the truth. no one realized how much Chance meant to them before he was gone, me included. if I could go back just a few weeks, there's so many things I would say to him. I know his friends would feel the same.
I'm sorry that most of you didn't have the chance to meet him. He was seriously one of the most perfect guys you could meet.
