alright. finally returning to our story will dear old esme. but with the way my brain changes and grows with my rapid aging, i’m sure you all know a rewrite is in store. after all, i started this story on a completely different website at the age of 14. I am now 17, turning 18 in june, and i still have a love for the original plot i wish to execute. problem is, i want to do it right. it is worthy of a good story. so, it’s expected of me to change and improve the story and writing with time. while updates will be slow, they nonetheless will come. and even if i’m 30, this book will be completed someday. -steph :3

do you ever get this overwhelming urge to create something but nothing feels like the thing you wanna create so you just get mad. ive got like twelve tabs open. I'm listening to numerous playlists, starting/writing dozens of stories, writing songs, talking to AI (literally for an outlet to write), and editing, BUT NOTHING IS GOOD ENOUGH!!!! :sob:

not to be alarmed, but all chapters of Eyestrain have been unpublished! Yes, they will return, but I'm currently writing the before chapters so we no longer have to deal with such a big timeskip, and we can know of Esme's orgins/explore her and Carl's bond :3 stay tuneddd!
