Hey, hi! I know you don't know me, of course, but I read your book 'Restoring 9' not too long ago.
I was searching BOT ff and I stumbled into this one 'Haunting 4' by @cookiemonster0487, so I started reading and I found many similarities: her name's Kiara (similar to Ciara), her mum's terminally ill, her dad @buses her but I thought, let's read further. So I continued and one of the first scenes is the same. She changes school, they meet in front of the classroom, she doesn't want to enter because of anxiety. I don't really know if this is a coincidence or not but it sounds really strange to me how the stories are so SIMILAR. I checked and your book was published long ago before theirs so, they may have copied your work.
I don't write this with any sort of hate towards the other 'author', but I don't think people should copy other people's work. I may be wrong but I think that you should check it out since you wrote that book so of course you can recognize better if they did.
I really don't mean this with any kind of hatred, just if you can try to confront them to at least know if they even read your book - because as I said, I may be wrong -
I didn't read further because I'm here alerting you, but if you can I really advise to read it all because as I said I may be wrong.

@WhimsyMaya I am sorting this out with the author it’s all coincidental. I mean no harm. I would love to knows ways I can fix it I wrote this months agao and am slowly publishing it all. The first chaoters are rocky but as you get in there are nothing in common. I completely get wehere your comming from and thanks for bringing it up but we are sorting it out x

@cookiemonster0487 You can take inspiration from other books and other authors, everyone does it, but what's not okay it's to copy someone's work. Now, I don't know if this is a coincedence, I don't know if you didn't mean it, I don't know a thing about you or your book or your intentions. That's why I called you out so you can explain yourself. I don't mean any harm or hatred to you, but it was just a moral thing I had to do. As a reader, I can't let that pass. I was liking your book, I was liking the lines but there are so many similar things... I wish you the best as an author but please don't copy someone's else book. People work hard for that, people put their experience and their feelings and soul in those books. I know that you can write your original work without needing to copy others, everyone can do so. As I said, i may be wrong, but if you didn't do it then you'll have no problems and I'll apologize for my mistake.

Currently, I am slumped in a busy week due to upcoming exams and piles of school work. For such reasons, I will not be uploading chapters for the next couple of days—till this week ends.
But be aware that I will post a very worthwhile dump once I am done as I have some wrapped but need to oversee one last time <3
