All a girl wants is a change in life. Well she speaks a little too soon. Before she knows it she's moving not only to a new place, but a new state with her real dad and older brother, who she's never met before. Her father, being an addict, goes missing and it is up to her and her brother to take care of themselves. Things start to fall apart and don't seem like they are going to come back together, but quicker than expected they do.


My Complicated Life

After a long summer in San Francisco, I'm returning back to Orlando to live with my step brother, Jason, and his mom. Of course, only until my dad gets out of jail. I've finally started high school, which is just a new experience. Some things go great and some things don't, particularly for Jason after he makes a wrong move at a party. I also learn that I will be spending my Christmas with my Uncle Dave, which apparently I should be scared for...
