Does anyone else find it totally ironic that the Watty's ban AI use but if you submit your story to the contest you are, by default, agreeing to have your writing used to train their machine learning algorithms.  
          	There are way too many evil tech-bros in this business.

Sorry, but there is no AI without ML.  Our creative inputs mashed into data points feed the algorithms (or make golems).  I will spare you all the rest of the rant but The Alignment Problem by Brian Christian is not a bad starting point if you are interested in unpacking this more.

@alpraed true. But it's also a matter of circumstances. Al use isn't right for creating art as that destroys work and steals from other artists. Machine learning isn't hurting people the same way (well I don't think so thats just my opinion)

Hello everyone.  Thanks for the follows and encouragements. 
          Just letting you know that starting in December I will up the frequency in posting the chapters in Moonstones and Madness. The last chapter should arrive for any Christmas binge readers.  
          Then I plan a bit of a break while I re-group in the New Year.

Just found out  Pas De ... Don't made the ONC2024 long list. Added the 20k sticker to the cover and did a little happy dance. Glad to have challenged myself to try something different and so grateful for the support.

@alpraed Don’t worry, Anna! You challenged yourself to write your best and that’s fine! My first ONC entry in 2019 also did not make the Longlist but then I participated every year and got a little better.
            So I encourage you to enter every year, I had different placements, sometimes Round 2, several times Longlist, once Shortlist etc… The point is that you completed your manuscript ♥️
