Because Drag Path by Twenty One Pilots only came out last month,
but after going through the full lyrics, there’s a part that really hit me.

If I had heard it last year, I probably would’ve used it for Rooted in You instead of The Ordinary by Alex Warren.

I’m not even sure if Drag Path fits Mellis or Haraine more.
one is already gone, but still left a drag path in the forest,
while the other is clearly struggling with depression, like she’s been waiting for someone to pull her out…

@wafvjh Thank you so much for your message. Recently, I'm busy rewriting my Bharat-Modern Fanfic "The Bride of Naga" on a different platform, so I can't take on english translation projects at the moment. I really appreciate your support and for waiting for me! :)

With just 17 chapters, Moon Shadow Across Time/You has already become one of my favorites. It's one of those books where you wish you could go back to read it for the first time again. Your writing is so pretty, authornim.

I’m Cambodian, and even though right now both of our countries are in a fierce conflict, I can’t help but admire your talent and determination in writing. Since our cultures are very similar, I recognize a lot of the Thai/Lanna traditions and culture you describe in your story, and I just want to say that you amazingly capture the beauty and the vintage feeling of our similar culture and religion. Maybe one day when I start writing, I hope that my Khmer culture will be written and described as beautifully as the way you write yours.

In addition, this isn’t the only good story of yours. I love the complexity and depth of your plots, they’re so interesting to read. May you never lose the spark to write, authornim cause I’m always here to read your stories.

P.S: I love Jao Saen Inthachan/Inthanil so much, I aspire to be as gentle and calm as her.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and write such a warm message. Writing a story with historical elements, even if it only touches on a small part, requires a lot of research. Before the colonial era, Southeast Asia shared cultural foundations for a very long time, influenced by India and China through language, religion, beliefs, and traditions.

Later, during the colonial period, our region went through major political and cultural changes. Borders, identity, and historical narratives were reorganized under new systems, which affected how cultures were separated and remembered today.

Even though our countries are facing conflict right now, I hope you understand that it is mostly a conflict driven by those in power, not the people. Many Southeast Asian countries have gone through similar situations.

Thank you again for your kind and encouraging words. I appreciate it a lot. I decided to translate this story because a Vietnamese friend reached out to me, so I was given the chance to work on it.

And I am happy to hear that you love Jao Saen Inthachan(Inthanil). She means a lot to me too.
