She separated herself from the rest of the group when she realized that she hadn’t checked up on Karen since she had been so occupied with.. well trying to prevent the end of the world. Once she reached the room she was directed to she took a deep breath before gently knocking on the door, opening it not even a second later. “Mom..?” Her expression went soft at the sight of her. “Hey mom, it’s your favorite kid.” Even in such a serious moment she couldn’t help but joke a little.

@demobandz I just like really like the idea that if any parents are close, it's joyce and karen cause i don't think she'd let three people stay with her family and only knew like one person from the group I do love the fact she locked in when hearing lucas was in trouble though >:]

@heroiclerics honestly I feel like only a few households out of the main cast are religious someway somehow like the wheelers, maybe the sinclairs, the cunninghams, ofc the carvers, and maybe the hargrove / mayfield during s2 / s3 I'm not really sure ( it would be more neil then susan though )
