Reign and Anika started the way Zo and Anika started— as friends. After closing their chapter, Anika opened another one— her dream. Like Zo, Reign left Anika be. He let her live her most wanted dream. He let her cherished it the way she deserved to because he knew Anika waited for that to happen her whole life. Besides, Reign knew Anika has still feelings for Zo. He accepted the fact that Zo will always have a spot in her heart.
However, unlike Lorenzo, Reign stayed. He was letting her live her dreams without making her feel that she has to do it alone— not when she had no one because she’s cut her parents off. He stayed behind her— clapping at every achievements she’s had and even celebrating it with her. He stayed through her countless “relapse”. He stayed being her person. He made sure she knew she had him— at all ways.
And that? That’s Anika’s why.
