Idc if Carmilla was intended negatively, it remains my favourite book of all time. The fourth chapter ‘Her Habits — a Saunter’ is a genuine masterpiece. The prose and dialogue are just beautiful.
Sparked by my reread of this masterpiece in an attempt at trying to absorb how 1800s gothic, romantic fiction describes discomforting relationships since I’ve started writing for my ASOIAF fics again.

If hotd s2 had been given its intended 10 episodes with the gullet as episode 9 and taking Kingslanding as episode 10, I genuinely think it would have been so much better. S3 e2 was brilliant in every way, Emma D’arcy is and will always be my favourite actor.
Knew it was coming in hotd, still made my heart hurt a little bit :(
Genuinely daredevil s3 is the best season of any show I’ve ever watched. Ray and Dex, you are so loved by me (and Karen Page, but that goes without saying).
I swear a majority of the covers for asoiaf fics on here are at least somewhat ai. It’s actually insane, especially considering the lawsuit GRRM is involved in regarding ai.

Hi :) I very much intend to at some point pick it back up, but I would probably also want to edit all of the old chapters first because it’s been three years and my writing style has very much changed. It’s a gamble on motivation, but the fic is not currently scrapped, just on hold :)
