I honestly can't believe what happened today. Our fandom has experienced something that contains unfathomable depths. The unbearable news caused many tears to fall. We will always remember this day, but most importantly, we will ALWAYS remember Zayn Malik. I honesty hope that Zayn recovers from everything that he had to endure due to ignorant people constantly criticizing. We are humans, and sometimes we need to be able to stand up for ourselves and wave a white flag in surrender. This shows that what many people crave, money and fame, does not bring joy and happiness. You need to be happy with yourself first. I'm so heartbroken that Zayn left the band this way. I always imagined that they would leave happy with the great achievements they accomplished together in mind, but Zayn left because he wanted to end all of the suffering he was putting himself through by taking the hate of many. During this time, instead of being mad, we need to help each other. We were not the only people hurt from this. Harry, Liam, Niall, and Louis are devastated that one of their brothers had to leave them, so they need our support too. I also want to say, I know that many of us are mourning over this, but please do not do anything to harm yourself! This does not solve anything, because it only hurts more people. Please reach out to others. As a fandom who has conquered so many obstacles, we need to be there for one another. We will get through this rough time, but that does not mean that we will forget Zayn in the process! He has made his mark on us and I don't believe that it will ever fade. He taught me that I need to hold on to who I AM and to love myself. As he once said, "Just close your eyes and enjoy the roller coaster that is life :) x". I will greatly miss Zayn, but he will ALWAYS be a part of me.
