@rwindson Thanks ya sorry I was typing fast sorry didn't mean for the typo. Haha and thanks for all the senarios. I think if I did do something I would do it with all the comunist and enimies of America united like your last thought but kind of have it simplified like NK would probably be busy fighting SK and China would most likely be backing them up, the Arabs would probably stay in the Middle East, although I'm not sure on the South American countries, but I don't think they really have much of an army to use so they'd probably use more gurrila tactics to fight us, but Russia that's a wonder they'd either attack the U.S.A or go for Europe. That's my thinking I don't think they'd be able to unite as well as the NATO coalition but also I think that we have treaties with a lot of the South American treaties I'll look some stuff up. But as for weaponary their all fairly similar a lot would probably use mainly "Terrorist" weapons like the AK-47, RPG, and other crude traps in the jungle and IEDs in the Middle east but Russia might have some more high tech weaponary. Well either way thanks for the advice!! Every bit helps :D

          Oh yeahh. I can give you several tips!
          - 2012, Russia tensions vs US heightened during Syrian Conflict. Russia helps Ba'athists, US helps rebels.
          - Iran - Israel. Israel threatens Iranian Invasion if Iran does something bad and pisses them off (which would obviously involve the US)
          - US-China is currently having a Cyber War. Tensions are already high.
          - in 2012, when Putin got elected again (mysteriously, since the Communist Party was extremely popular), the Russian Communist Party got pissed off pretty bad. This is a good scenario for a civil war;
          - And on the same case, if Putin DIDN't get chosen and the Communist Party changed the capitalist-based policies of now-Russia, a war could happen. Just imagine an alliance of Russia, China, NK, Arabs, some South American countries vs. NATO-led Coalition. I've been thinking about writing about that but it's a bit tooo complicated (since I take attention to small details like logistics, weaponry, uniform, style, etc, etc) so I havent written it.

@rwindson Ya that's what I ment by a bit in the future it'll probably be with pretty similar tech as we have in the marines today but in a war that could happen. The reason I was thinking Korea is because of the tensions we were having with them earlier this year with all of the Nuclear tests and stuff and because a war with them could actually happen. I'll probably have it sometime from 2014-2018 like you think.

@rwindson Thanks bro! Ya after college I'll probably switch to regular and who knows maybe one day I might be under your command haha well that'd be an adventure. Ya I was thinking about writing about the marines but I'm not sure what era I'd put it in I was thinking about doing it a little bit in the future in a jungle like area maybe Korea?? Idk yet thanks for the Idea bro!!!

@amLarson Oh xD then after college, you're switching to regular? That's a great idea! Though I ultimately prefer ROTC... There's also PLC (Platoon Leaders' Course) for college students if you want!
          
          

@rwindson I think I'm going to enlist it's faster and I think you can go more ways with it and you don't have to be as old. Actually I'm thinking about doing one of those weekend warrior things where you can go to college while being in the reserve and it helps pay for college so win win.
