the way i changed “extremely slow slow burn” to “not that slow slow burn” for the wlgyp’s description tho— 
          
          am i possibly revamping a fic in the middle of writing it? perhaps. will James and Madeline end up together before chapter 40? meh, maybe ;p

it’s me again, sorry! I was behind and I read the new chapters of wlgyp and boy...denial and stubbornness and the way that these characters are just so goddamn realistic...

so i finally updated wlgyp (check it out if you want!) and i’m rereading and reconnecting with my characters and gahh i CANT with the first like ten chapters, so i’m going in to edit (while simultaneously updating). just wanted to let people know in case they reread and find new stuff!

Help me i love worldbuilding and investing my time in the plot that my characters come in last making then super underdeveloped which ruins my entire plot so I eyeball it and base myself onto them which ruins my entire plot

self doubt is so dumb! like i legit have like 3 chapters of wlgyp done (unedited tho aka only been edited once-ish) and i’m so nervous to post themmmm!!
          
          friendly reminder to anyone else struggling with this, not eVERY chapter has to be groundbreaking or a certain word count or even what people keep commenting they want to happen. i think it’s important to strive to be our best, but chasing perfection is like this endless loop of disappointment. it sucks the fun out of writing and makes reading comments sO stressful!
          
          (honestly needed to hear this myself...)
