A new chapter of Impractical People will post tomorrow morning! I included a poll in there, but I want to ask the question here, too. What kind of MJ story sounds most interesting to you: 1) Trauma bonding with his lady or 2) fluffy/romantic one-shots (?) set in an alternate universe where Michael retired in his 30s and lives in domestic bliss with his wifey
          
          I want to write both but need help deciding which one I want to start with lol. K bye

Of course, as soon as I write something that references Howard University a million times, Howard decides it wants to be in the news for being shiesty. Still working on the next chapter of Impractical People. I want to put out two chapters this week and then take a little internet break.
          
          Also decided that I'm gonna stop being a puss-puss and start drafting my very first MJ fanfic (for the public, that is, because your girl has been writing MJ fanfic in her brain for decades lol). Just a heads up, it won't be violent, but there WILL be pain and agony lol

Thank you to everyone who has read and voted on Impractical People so far! I want to get out two more chapters before I unplug for a bit. 
          
          Pretty soon, we’re gonna getting a major flashback to when Corey and Imani’s parents/aunts/uncles were their age, and after that, Corey and Imani will meet again 
          
          I know Jaafar wants his next role to something thrilling and darker, but writing this story has made me very interested in seeing him as the lead in a Boomerang-esque romantic comedy

I’ve started avoiding and turning off comments on out of character MJ fics because the way folks to be talking to the authors…? To other readers…? Read trigger warnings and still get mad? And on the flip side—the way toxic MJ be knocking these girls between the washer and dryer bad and folks still hate the female character (but that’s for another day)
          
          I might sound self-righteous when I say this but I’ve just never, ever—in all my years of internet-ing and fanficking—felt the urge to meltdown in writer’s comments section on ANY platform to tell them how much I don’t like their work, ESPECIALLY when they let us know the deal before hand. I’m just SO good about “hmm…this ain’t for me…” clicking exit and just moving on. Maybe it just comes with age. Or touching enough grass to know that somebody’s fanfiction isn’t a biography, and that people are gonna write the fanFICTION they want to, and there’s not much I can do about it even if I don’t like it?

Working on another chapter of Impractical People sooner than I wanted to. Once ideas start popping into my head, I HAVE to get them down (I need to work on this lol). But I think before I start writing, I want to go through some old chapters and make some edits (more like add in some images - houses, cars, etc.). 
          
          I want to really make sure readers FEEL the 90s vibes.
