Can I just say that I hate SA in books. It’s the fact that some authors use it as a plot device. It’s also used as a way to propel the story forward. I also hate that most authors don’t understand the real ramifications that come along with this specific trauma. Most books with SA lack emotional intelligence and depth to even discuss the nuances.
