Ooh... is there any possibility that Zeke's mother (with feelings of guilt, or needing a biological match [for herself or later children] for medical reasons) could turn up in Alexander's story? As a nurse, she might find evidence of Zeke's link with Xan.
Given her abandonment of Zeke to his abusive father, that would be very complicated.
@ameliaamarie totally agree. The only possible reason for her to appear would be if she felt only Zeke could do something for her.... if she needed a kidney (renal failure) or bone marrow (lukemia) I could see her trying to guilt Zeke to be tested as a possible donor. Or worse, trying to guilt her grandson Xan (identified through breaching medical privacy) who seriously has enough mental anguish already
@Pendragon651 that's an interesting thought! I don't see her coming back in there lives though. She was a very neglectful mother and didn't really care about anyone but herself so I don't see her trying to show up
