That was quite the eventful Super Bowl last night. I was in my room watching the Olympics towards the end of the game (didn’t want to possibly see Burrow win again), when I heard my mom say that the Rams were about to win from the living room (didn’t know my mom was watching it). I literally ran out of my room so fast to see the game-winning touchdown. I’m not from LA nor have I ever been to LA, but I’m glad that they won.

I’m so sorry that I keep forgetting to update on here. I got a dog a few months back and I recently got my first job (and my Pfizer booster, too) so time really got away from me. I also fairly recently started on a new book series, ACOTAR (A Court of Thorns and Roses). I’m currently on the 2nd book in the series, A Court of Mist and Fury. I don’t know who my favorite character in the series is just yet, but I do know that I don’t like Tamlin. He basically locked up Feyre at one point.

My cat (Tigger) is currently hissing at my dog (Cosmo), so I got to end the post here. I know the Spring semester has started not that long ago for most, so I wish you guys good luck this semester.

We got hit by the ice storm/winter storm here in Tuscaloosa, but not nearly as bad as Texas did. I hope they get power back soon, since having no heat during a winter storm is quite dangerous. If you have no power, make sure that you don’t use something like an outdoor grill as a heating source, otherwise you could get carbon monoxide poisoning. Stay warm and dry out there!

I’m sorry for not being on here for so long! I had a crazy summer, and an even crazier start to the school year! Over the summer, I took two classes [one of which was online] and I went to Napa in June for my cousin’s wedding [the weather was amazing there]. Also, I got student tickets to every Alabama home game this season [I wish that 11 am kickoffs weren’t a thing], so my weekends have been pretty booked. I also had to switch dorms a little over 2 weeks ago due to some issues with my ex-roommate [It’ll take another post to explain what went down with my ex-roommate, so stay tuned, because I’ll probably post about it tomorrow after class].

Enough about the circus that is my life. I hope the school year has been treating you well so far. I hope that y’all have not had too much homework thrown at you so far. I hope that you have not come across any issues with your roommates. Remember this: It’s okay to take a break every now
and then to just stretch or go get a snack while your studying or doing homework. Don’t stress yourself out to the point where you’re literally in tears while working on your Math homework. May the rest of your week be relaxing and not full of petty drama!
