          I wanted to hop on here and say a massive thank you for 1k votes on Shadow of The Key. I’m truly floored that so many of you have enjoyed this story that has become so precious to me. 
          
          I like to think of every story as branched-off universes, and while Amelia and Sebastian’s story hasn’t fully wrapped up yet, trust that they’ll soon have their complete happy ending. At least… in THIS universe.
          
          Depending on how much progress I make, SoTK and Alkaline should be releasing new chapters again sometime in the next couple weeks.
          
          Once again, thank you for being so patient with me and I’ll see you soon.

Hi there, I hope you’re having a lovely day ♡
          
          First off, I want to say that I’m truly sorry for not updating either Alkaline or SotK in so long. The last thing I want to do is keep you waiting, but unfortunately, creativity is coming hard to find at the moment for a multitude of reasons.
          
          I originally wrote these fics because I found enjoyment in writing, yet that enjoyment slowly dwindled over time. While I wish to put out more chapters, I don’t wish to put out any chapters that are rushed and could cause either of my fics to lose their initial sparks.
          
          Rest assured that I still plan to work on and finish both of these fics. It just might take a bit longer.
          
          If you’re still sticking around with me, I appreciate it more than you know.

          to my SotK readers: the next chapter update will be posted September 8th at 5PM PST! once again, I apologize for my absence. there’s been a few reasons for this:
          
          1. life.
          2. I’ve been starting to shift my focus to Alkaline since SotK is drawing to a close. another chapter will be posted September 12th at 5PM PST.
          3. I had to really sit and think about how I wanted SotK to wrap up. the last thing I want is to rush it and leave an unsatisfying ending for you, so I’ve been taking a longer time with writing.

          I’ll still need a bit more time to work on the new chapter of SotK. It should be ready within the next few days. I’ve definitely been hit with heavy writers block and I kept having to restart the entire chapter over again because I wasn’t satisfied with it.

Hi there, just an update to those reading SotK:
          
          Unfortunately, I need to push back the new chapter again and I’m SO so so sorry for this inconvenience. I can’t seem to catch a break in my personal life. I don’t have a definitive date for when this chapter will be posted, but it will be within the next week. I PINKY promise.
          
          Again, I’m so sorry these chapters have been a lot slower than usual. I’m still determined to finish this fic, especially when there’s only 4 chapters left.

Hi! To those reading SotK: next chapter will be posted June 28th, but I thought I’d give you a heads up that it’s going to be a LONG chapter. I’m talking 7.5k words long. It’ll be Sebastian’s memories with Amelia from their first encounter to the present, and I honestly didn’t even get to include everything that I wanted to. I know some of you are eager to get back in the action, but I gotta twist the knife a bit. 
          
          After that, the climax of the story will be posted July 5th. I know it’s a bit of a wait, but I need to make sure there’s no plot holes. I also need to take a bit of a breather, that last chapter had me in a chokehold as much as you lol.
