You guys know what I JUST realised… so I’ve been saying that the letters Xaden wrote to Ashtyn is from LIEUTENANT XADEN RIORSON but Xaden was a cadet when he was writing them… so do you guys think I should go back and change it to CADET XADEN RIORSON or just leave it as is ???

          I know you’re waiting till the release but I had a theory I wanted to share with you. What if Ashtyn’s signet had something to do with fire? 
          Not just for the title but also bc to me it makes a lot of sense. Do you know what I mean? Just how she’s described and the different atributes of fire itself- well it makes sense to me.

i hope that there is no animosity between us and that you’ll let me support your story, as i’ve really enjoyed it so far. i’d just like to say again how wonderful your ideas for your fanfic is. you’re really killing it and i wish you all the best as a fellow writer! 
          
          if you’ll let me and your okay with it, id love to rewrite/restart my fourth wing fanfic about aaric. i won’t use any of your ideas if you don’t feel comfortable with it. however, if you are willing, i’ll of course give you credit. for example, the idea of the fmc loving food and using it as a coping mechanism or the idea of aaric training the fmc were really cool ideas.

          i just wanted to message you and formally apologize by saying how genuinely sorry i am. i couldn’t figure out how to message you privately and i don’t know if all of your readers will get this message or not, but i hope it will give you and them an explanation for this whole situation. 
          
          it was never my intention to copy your story at all and i know how wrong plagiarism is. i’ve immediately taken my story down and you will not find it anywhere on wattpad. i simply want to explain myself and hope you can understand where im coming from. 
          
          i really wanted to write a fourth wing fanfic about aaric and i had no clue where to start so naturally i started reading other people’s stories to get ideas of what to write. your story was the only one i’d read about aaric and i thought it was so well structured and full of interesting plot lines. therefore, subconsciously when writing and planning out my story i started using your fanfic as a framework for my own. i got so caught up in the thrill of writing my own story that i fully wasn’t grasping what i was doing. however, looking back on my actions, i now know how wrong of me it was to copy your story. especially without giving you any credit whatsoever. i was simply so inspired by your ideas and storyline that i started implementing them into my own fanfic, without thinking of the repercussions. 
          
          as one author to another, i hope that you can forgive me, but if you can’t i totally understand why. we are all human and we all make mistakes and i truly do take full responsibility of my actions. you did the right thing by commenting on my story and i admit i ignored it at first and panicked by blocking you but then i realized how awful my actions really were and unblocked you which lead me to read your newest chapter. you had every right to inform your readers about plagiarism and tell them to report my story. but like i said before, i’ve removed my fanfic and i promise you, i will never copy any of your ideas again.
