"My two days MC expired on Wednesday so of course, it was back to school for me.
          
           
          
          The only thing I was looking forward to was catching up on the latest gossips with my friends. Duh, gossip's a girl's guilty pleasure.
          
           
          
          My daily school routine started with my alarm clock ringing to What Makes You Beautiful by One Direction. That song's my jam. 
          
          I left the house at 6.45am with my family. You see, my little sister and my mum go to the same school as me. My sister studies in the primary school, which is located in the block opposite mine.
          
           
          
          My mum, on the other hand, teaches Home Economics in my secondary school. On top of that, she is a Head Of Department (HOD) of Aesthetics. No prizes for guessing that is a high ranked status in the school.
          
           
          
          That only meant a few things. One, I always hav to be an exemplary student, be it academics or character. Two, no breaking of any rules for me. 
          
          Once I slid out of the car, I was greeted by the familiar chatters of the student body lingering around the canteen area.
          
           
          
          Here it comes. The four darn flights of stairs to conquer. The school needs to re-look into locating the classes of the seniors on the lower floors. After all, we are called "seniors" for a reason. 
          
          Once I entered my classroom, Blair and Sophia came running up to me to give me a bear hug. It was more of a suffocating squeeze rather than a gentle bear hug actually.
          
           
          
          "Guys, I'm not dead. And I don't want to be dead either so please stop suffocating me!"
          
           
          
          I managed to choke out those words while squirming in their extremely tight grip. Two versus one, not fair.
          
           
          
          "I know we take your breath away." Sophia said while wearing her famous cheeky grin.
          
           
          
          "Yeah! Hi five Sophia!" Blair added while pumping an open palm in the air waiting for Sophia's palm to collide with hers.
          
           
          
          "Uh no thanks." Sophia retaliated.
