I have written 18 grade school readers for a variety of educational publishers and illustrated over 50 books. I am currently working on my 19th reader and on a new YA science fiction trilogy. I'm also a graphic designer and love designing books and playing with type fonts. I live in Denver, Colorado, with my dog, Bo. We share the area with a variety of wildlife, from field mice to white tail deer, hummingbirds to red tail hawks, and the occasional pack of howling coyotes. Bo particularly likes to chase the squirrels and rabbits. He's been known to jump up into a tree and grab a squirrel.
