if you’re going to ask me to rewrite my oc’s form for an applyfic just to accommodate your oc, at least have the decency to let me know if you’re not going to apply in the end. it’s already frustrating that i had to cut down and adjust so much of my oc’s background to make it fit yours, but doing all that for nothing and not even being informed about it is just disrespectful

don’t you just hate it when you’ve been anticipating an update from a fic for a long time and when the chapter finally comes out the writing turns out to be bad you can’t even finish it all the way through so you lose all the feels you have for plot entirely. yeah me too.

i want to address the ongoing situation involving @etclipse, an applyfic writer here on wattpad who has recently been accused of using ai and plagiarizing other writers' work, among other users. these allegations are not baseless, there is documented proof, including screenshots of statements that came directly from her, where she admits to using ai and expresses indifference toward the harm it causes to both the environment and the writing community.
          
          multiple users have attempted to seek clarification and accountability, only to be insulted and eventually blocked by her (including myself). despite this, @etclipse continues to show no indication of stopping and has since deleted the thread on her profile that raised questions about her allegations.
          
          screenshots and documentation are currently being compiled and will be added to the shared document linked below for full transparency. in the meantime, i strongly encourage anyone who is concerned to report @eclipse's account through wattpad's official reporting system, attaching evidence where possible. this is the proper way to address ai use and plagiarism on this platform.
          
          let’s please keep this a safe and honest space for real writers who put genuine time, energy, and effort into their work!
