question regarding my a:tla book! since I’m planning to do a legend of korra-based sequel, should I only start and publish it after I completely finish violent delights or do you guys think it’s fine if I publish at least the synopsis of it soon? like just an early chapter maybe in advance while I’m writing the final part of violent delights? just curious to know which decision you might prefer

@amorifleur I think that's fine for me, btw I really love your book, it's one the best Zuko fics I've read since I became active in the fandom once again. But I do have a question, are you going to be writing about the new movie as well?

This is an underrated fanfiction that exceeded my expectations! You write incredibly well and efficiently.

What I liked most was how you incorporated real-life authors and their works as OCs into the fic, staying true to the canon. All the characters are named after authors who actually existed in bsd, including Mori Ogai, whose personality we know as someone who likes the Lolita type but is also incredibly intelligent and strategically logical. You use his intelligence and manipulation as a key element in the plot.

As for his father-daughter relationship with Yaeko, there's a subtle boundary between his role as his daughter and as his woman. He doesn't overstep boundaries; he gives her whatever she asks for, but he's infatuated with her, mostly due to her ability and his overly protective nature.

I know that in the future, Yaeko might distance herself from her father due to his mafia management methods and her ability he desires, making her feel uncomfortable and unable to accept his actions. However, in their personal lives, she still respects him as the father who gave her a good new life, and she will never forget his kindness. She separates their personal lives from her father's mafia work, not letting her hatred for him fester. No matter how much she hates her father's job, she would be heartbroken if something happened to him.

I wish you all the best in writing more of this fic.(◍•ᴗ•◍)✧*。

P.S. I know the manga has ended, and we're waiting for Part 2 of the bsd manga.

Thank you very much for responding to my comment!!!

To be honest, the relationship between him and his daughter could be described as "closer than father and daughter, but more distant than family." They aren't a couple, nor are they father and daughter at the same time. However, describing their relationship as a 'guardianship' is considered the safest possible term.

Hi, thank you so much for reading my story and leaving this comment! I love it when readers analyse what I write and share their thoughts on it with me because I’m always open to hearing other people’s thoughts and interpretations with my writing!

One of the main dynamics in my BSD fanfic is the complicated father-daughter dynamic between Mori and Yaeko and I’m glad that that aspect of the story intrigues you. You pretty much nailed what I intended to convey of their dynamic with what you said (the spoiling and the growing overprotective nature and Yaeko trusting her father blindly even when she has her doubts deep down just because he saved her) and there will definitely be more elaboration to their dynamic in the future!

Once again, thank you so much for leaving this detailed comment and I hope you look forward to reading more of my work! With part one of the manga over, I’m also pretty excited to see how part two will unfold.

            I hope you have a great day!<3
