          it’s been a while.
          
          first of all, thank you for the insane amount of patience over these past months. life got busy, dealing with college and working my two jobs. writer’s block has been killing me, so somewhere along the way i needed a little time to step back and find the love for this story again instead of forcing it onto the page.
          
          but i’m back and i’ve missed the characters of overtaken and i’ve missed writing their chaos, tension, rivalry, and all the little moments in between more than i can properly explain.
          
          i’ve just published new chapters, which officially marks the start of a new stretch of the story, and i’m excited for what i decide to do next in my drafts. emotions are getting messier, relationships are getting more complicated, and unfortunately, or fortunately, for ash and serena, things are only going to get more intense from here.
          
          thank you again for sticking around. genuinely. i hope the chapters were worth the wait.

          i have now released chapters 28 through 31 of “overtaken.” they were being edited in my drafts for a little while, and i’m excited to finally share them with you, especially with how things are progressing. i really wanted to get these chapters out quickly to bring you all more content ahead of my return to college for another year. 
          
          i will try to write another chapter or two beforehand, at least before classes begin in the next week or so, but as a heads up, i can’t make any promises for the time being. college, along with work, will definitely take up majority of my free time.
