for  my  own  sake,   and  the  sake  of  my  siblings,   i  try   to  stay  oblivious  to  any  happenings  in  the  fatui  that  don’t  direct  involve  us.    things  are  tense..   i’d  like  to  offer  reassurance.

❜    if I let you go..    ❛   she  started,  reaching out her arms to hook them over caetera's shoulders.  she clasped her hands together and pulled forward, bringing the woman as close as she could to her face. her inhuman  stare stayed perfectly still, unwavering.   ❜   you'd  fly  away and never come back.   all  birds  are  like that.  so pretty, yet so scared and helpess to mans callous hands.  you are my little bird because you are delicate and beautiful as all things I adore.  yet .. you take my loving name and spoil it with untrue /garbage/.  do you despise me so much that you see me in such a negative light?  am I not good enough for you?  Is  there  someone  else ?   what am I missing?  you shout and cry and beg and demand yet you never answer.   I don't want to be alone.  I don't ask you to do much else. I ask for your loyalty and love.  yet I am cruel and hurtful in this request.  so what is it?   ❛   she  tugs,  brushing her nose against the others as she talks through clenched teeth.   ❜  what am i missing?  ❛

⠀⠀never had seraphia hear such anger come from the other, her expression drew to a still blank slate. her eyes, however, remained unnervingly wide.    ❜   I gave you everything.   ❛   she  spoke  far  too calmly,  her  tone  soft yet so commanding in power.    she had never had someone shout at her like this -   no.   deny her like this.    she turns her head to the side, almost too smoothly for it to seem   human. 
                   ❜   i never shouted. never demanded.  never pushed you.  never hurt you.    ❛   she  went  on,  listing what she was innocent of.  her  mind  raced as she spoke, continuous in her 'never haves'.  what was she doing wrong? that was all she could think.    she  was so lost to her words and thoughts that she had not noticed the broken skin where she had snapped a few of her nails from the pressure of her fists.   she finally stopped her listings,  taking a single step forward.  the dainty step saw cracks form through the fround,  golden hot liquid burning at her feet where she stood.

@goIdencage,                 ⋆  the nickname strikes her defenses like a precise arrow, visible pain flashing across her features. what would’ve had caetera smiling and blushing on other occasions simply brought tears to her eyes now. and.. seraphia’s innocent expression only served to sadden and enrage her both. as if she truly had no idea what caetera meant. & maybe it was the fact that this was true that brought caetera all the more grief.  ⋆                 of course you’re confused. of course you don’t understand.. how could you? l͟i͟t͟t͟l͟e͟ ͟b͟i͟r͟d͟  ⸻ that’s all i am to you, aren’t i? a bird in a cage. have you heard of the saying, a golden cage is a cage nonetheless? 
            t͟h͟a͟t͟’͟s͟ ͟e͟x͟a͟c͟t͟l͟y͟ ͟w͟h͟a͟t͟ ͟y͟o͟u͟’͟r͟e͟ ͟d͟o͟i͟n͟g͟!͟               ⋆  it bursts out from her quite suddenly, a sharp spike of rage that manifests in a shout. it was the first time she had ever raised her voice towards the other woman.  ⋆ 

⠀⠀❜    i can't say i'll do the same,   ❛   she  admitted,  practically melting into the lazy kiss and the warmth of her beloved.   ❜    maybe?  i can't  help it ..  i want to remember every  second of this..   ❛  she sighed dreamily,  pressing soft lips at caetera's jaw.   she closed her eyes, simply enjoying the moment.

@goIdencage,                  mm. i’ll be keeping count for five minutes exactly,              ⋆  caetera murmurs, though they both know she’ll be doing the exact opposite. a lazy kiss was pressed to the halovian’s temple as she wraps her arms more snugly around her.  ⋆              have you been awake all this time? only to call me back just as i’m about to leave.

⠀⠀❜    hmhm,   I'll treasure every second.   ❛  she  giggled, a cat - like, triumphant smile pulling st the corners of her lips.  she  nuzzled herself closer,  nose brushing against a neck.  she brought a hand up, gingerly coiling white hair around her index finger.  ❜   I do enjoy these moments.    ❛
