Fixed my broken heart so you could 
          Break it one more time 

Your being was like a seamless shade from the scorching sun’s crest.
          And now, I’m burning and adrift, with nowhere for myself to protect.

“Distance brings fondness”, but guess not with us

I’ll still run to you always 

You can put us oceans far apart 
          I’ll calm the seas just to sail to you

My mind perishes without the possibility of you

Flipping through our photographs 
          Those moments never seem to last

pictures and passin’ time
          you only smile like that when you’re drinking 
          I wish I didn’t ,but I do
          remember every moment on the nights with you
