Happy Friday! Here's a little excerpt from my upcoming fantasy Greek mythology-based book coming to Wattpad in December!
"Theo had learned her name long ago, yet it still felt strange on his tongue.
Phoebe. Phoebe. Phoebe.
It felt like a riddle; a clue. The name was much more ancient than she was; yet somehow it was not.
She was a riddle; an enigma, even when she seemed vulnerable. In all the times he had come down into the mortal realm — which was more frequently than not, as he was not welcome on Olympus, nor did he ever want to return — she had seen him. He was sure of it even before she called out to him that day. He was certain of it even before she chased after him.
She had seen him when no other mortals ever had. Not unless he let them.
She had seen him even when he didn’t want to be seen.
And she had reached out to him, her hand brushing against him as he took his usual transformation. Then she stood there, pale-faced, with nothing but a single feather in her hand.
What did she really want?
What does she know?
Whose pawn is she in this game of gods?"
I can't wait to share more little pieces and hints as December draws closer! <3
