Hello, here is a little update about Forget-me-Not:
As you already know, I was supposed to rewrite chapters 1–4 plus 6 only. However, I have decided to extend this rewriting session to chapters 7, 9 and 10, for the prose and several other issues truly bother me.
My wish as a writer is to write something I am proud of, not a story I would say "just wait for chapter X, it is better than the previous ones." I also wish to give you, readers, something meaningful, as perfect as possible, and that makes you want to keep turning the pages—sliding your screen.
For the time being, chapter 6 is almost finished, hopefully I can repost it next week. I will do my best to rewrite the rest as soon as possible, so that chapter 14 doesn't appear too late.
Here is the organisation sheet for the time being:
—chapter 06: 1/2 of scene 1, 1/2 of scene 3 are left to be rewritten.
—chapter 07: full rewriting of all scenes (the themes remain the same).
—chapter 08: light polishing, plus major rewriting of the last scene.
—chapter 09: medium polishing, rewriting of the middle section.
—chapter 10: medium polishing, scenes 3 & 4 to be rewritten.
—chapter 11: light to medium polishing.
I promise this is the final rewriting session. Now that I've found a prose style I enjoy, it should be fine.
Also, if anyone wishes to be a beta-reader, let me know. I think it could be useful to receive feedback when my mind is so perfectionist.
Thank you for your understanding :)
