David Alexander Brown is the name I originally used as a writer. It's also the name of the man who introduced me to stories, science fiction, and strange other worlds: my Dad.
Pops made his big move in 2001, but the memories of a little boy sitting in the glow of an old skool television console with Dad explaining why Mr. Spock's ears are pointed are immortal.
Those memories infuse and inform my fiction. But so do Bradbury, Mosley, Langston Hughes, Rumi, Wells, Verne, Jack Kirby, Stan Lee, Casablanca, and countless movies, moviemakers, authors, artists, too numerous for one bio to take. Besides, you'll spot my influences as you -- hopefully -- read along.
I hope you enjoy reading my works. Let me know whatcha think.
til we flow again,
