Ya. Try to get the readers interested in your story by maybe writing a very interesting scene and then put a to be continued in it. By doing that your readers are excited to find out what comes next. If you want you can read my stories to try to get a feel of writing stories. I hope this is helpful. Is this your first time trying to write?

@angelwygocki maybe you could read books here first from a genre you're interested in, and decide if you want to write books like the books you've read and brainstorm ideas on how you will outline you're story, hope this helps! this is what I did
