I hope you’re all doing well.
It’s almost been a year now (it will be in June) since I started writing Rayna’s story. When I first began, I honestly never expected the kind of response it would receive. The love you’ve shown — reading, voting, and supporting the story — truly means so much to me. I’ve put a lot of time and heart into writing it, and seeing you all connect with it has been incredibly encouraging.
However, over the past couple of months I haven’t been able to update as regularly as I used to. I’ve found it a little difficult to bring myself to write lately — perhaps a bit of writer’s block, along with some personal things on my end that have been emotionally draining.
Writing Rayna’s story has always been a kind of escape for me, and I truly want to continue telling it the way it deserves to be told. So while I will definitely keep writing and finishing this journey, the updates might be a little irregular for some time.
I just hope you won’t be too upset with me for this. I just need a little time at the moment, and I hope you’ll all understand.
That said, I do intend to complete Rayna’s story within July (max). I don’t want to unnecessarily drag the story, and I already have another plot brewing in my mind that I’m excited to start once Rayna’s journey comes to its happy ending.
I didn’t want to leave those of you who wait for new chapters wondering what’s going on, so I thought it would be better to share this with you all.
