Sometimes the heaviness you feel isn’t because your life is falling apart, but because your heart is slowly drifting away from the One who gives it peace. You go through your days doing everything you’re supposed to do talking, working, scrolling, even laughing but deep down there’s a quiet emptiness that nothing seems to fill. And the truth is, that space in your heart was never meant for this dunya; it was meant for Allah. He tells us, “Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest” (Qur’an 13:28), reminding us that real peace was never going to come from people, achievements, or distractions, no matter how much we chase them. What’s beautiful is that returning to Allah doesn’t require you to be perfect or to have everything figured out. It doesn’t start with big changes, it starts with sincerity. A small du‘a, a moment of honesty, a quiet “Ya Allah, I need You” can be enough to begin.

Salam, friend!
Hope you’re all doing well Just wanted to share my latest story, Scarred (A Muslim Story), if you enjoy a blend of faith and survival in a dystopian world.

          Blurb:
In a society where religion is banned and every step is watched, Simma lives hidden in the mountains—hunter, wife, protector, survivor. When whispers of an ancient sanctuary surface, her loyalty—and her faith—are put to the ultimate test.

If you’re into characters wrestling with belief, community, and the scars we carry (both seen and unseen), give the first chapter a read! I’d love to hear your thoughts, swap feedback, or just chat about faith in fiction.
