Thirty something female living in London. Secondary school English teacher. Although I was born and raised in London, both of my parents are from Hyderabad, India and left shortly after the independence of India in 1947.

I grew up on Bollowood of the 1950s and stories from the time of the British Raj, which had created a system by which they were able to divide and rule, giving a Nizam control of Hyderabad and he in turn handsomely paid people to live like kings and rule certain districts. My parents were descendents of such princes within the state of Hyderbad.

I grew up with my two sisters and brother in humble dwellings in North West London, but a part of me always felt like there was a past that had to be discovered and through my writing I can exlpore those realms..
Favourite books include The Catcher in the Rye, Wuthering Heights and Pride and Prejudice.
