Hello Everyone,

My name is Anna. I was born in New Bedford, MA and then lived in New Jersey for many years before moving down to Florida with my family in 1988. I have worked in the business world most of my life, even did the Wall Street scene for about seven years.

When I moved down to Florida I continued to work in the business world and then mixed it up a bit with sales, but something was always lacking. I would find myself getting bored of my job/career within a two to three year time frame. In 2011 when I was laid off from my job, I decided to take a mini vacation and give myself time to think about what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. Turns out that vacation was exactly what I needed. I decided to return back to college to obtain another degree this time in the healthcare industry but guess what, I was still not satisfied.

Then last semester I enrolled in a Creative Writing Class to satisfy my humanities requirement and that’s when I discovered my love of writing. I always knew I could write, but I never thought about doing anything with it. Well that has all changed and here I am. I look forward to the opportunities I will receive being part of this network and I also look forward to talking and sharing ideas with each of you. Talk to you soon and happy writing!
