My name is Priti Ghai. I am from Uttarakhand, India. 
I am an aspiring poet and writer. I have grown up reading poems by John Keats, William Wordsworth, Edgar Guest, Rudyard Kipling and Maya Angelou and needless to say that their work left a lasting impression on my mind. Writing brings me a kind of joy I have not known before, and poetry is my refuge. I believe that writing is a powerful tool. One to be used only to empower others, spread awareness, and inspire them to realise their dreams.
