Ann Franks - Writer of Romance

Ann Franks began her writing career after hearing her husband's desperate pleas to engage in something other than reading. Ann's obsession with reading regency romances started after her high school English teacher required the reading of Jane Austin's Pride and Prejudice and Thomas Hardy's Tess of the d'Urbervilles. Ann shelved the regencies and traded them out for college textbooks. After graduating with a Bachelor's and MBA in Accounting she moved from Australia to the US. She spent thirteen years working as an accountant for various companies before having children and forming her own consulting firm.
 
She currently lives in Colorado with her extremely understanding husband and her two very supportive children.
