The story behind Sapphire Shade has been brewing in Ann's brain since she was in middle school, and in the summer of 2013 she finally decided to write it all down! The series is projected to have seven books, four of which are written.

Ann lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband and two miniature schnauzers, Timber and Guinness. She likes to read romance novels (big surprise!) and watch sci-fi TV shows. She is a self-proclaimed Disney nerd. When she isn't writing she likes to snowboard, sing with her community choir, and practice optometry.
