Hello everyone.

I'm not American but I think at this point we should be aware that racism is not restricted to the borders of the United States.

I am black but I don't pretend to know everything about my community's struggles, but like all people all I can do is educate myself, research, and understand the relevant underlying issues- such as segregation, slavery, cultural appropriation, lack of equal opportunity/racial prejudice, the racial inequality present in society as a whole, and especially in the workforce.

There are many ways to help make a difference in this fight for justice. This can range from a combination of the following acts:

          	- Signing petitions
          	- Donating money
          	- Spreading awareness
          	- Introspecting and acknowledging the privilege you have
          	- Using the privilege you have for good, etc.

Like I said, I'm still learning and still educating but I felt the need to voice my thoughts on the matter on this platform as well.

I know a lot of people don't have funds to donate, especially in the midst of this pandemic, but a resource I've managed to come across is a video by Zoe Amira on YouTube which raises money for #BlackLivesMatter.

Here is the link: https://youtu.be/bCgLa25fDHM. I hope a lot of you are able to help in whatever capacity.

          	Love, Ann ❤️
